LA PORTE CITY—Services for V. W. "Buss" Hains, 73, who died Friday at his home in La Porte City from heart failure, will be 1 p.m. Monday at American Lutheran Church in La Porte City with burial in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Mt. Auburn.

Survivors are his wife, Marie S. of La Porte City; and a sister, Genevieve Voracek of Cedar Rapids.

Public visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 11 a.m. Monday
at Huisman-Dykeman Chapel in La Porte City.
