CEDAR FALLS — Memorial services are pending for Zelda H. Strever, 67, of 2735 Acorn Lane and formerly of 507 Montero Road, Waterloo, at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel in Waterloo. She died at her home Friday morning. There will be no visitation, The body has been cremated. Inurement will be later at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo.

She was born in Ames June 14, 1913, daughter of Charles B. and Gretta Zenor Holmes. She was a legal secretary for the Waterloo law firm of Pickett & Kober for eight years. She graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology when she was 56.

Surviving are two sons, Bill C. of Portsmouth, Va., and Harold B. Jr. of 2735 Acorn Lane; two daughters, Thorana Nelson of Anamosa and Dawn Platt of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Cedar Valley Hospice, 505 Franklin St., Waterloo, or the American Cancer Society.
