Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Pixley, 68, of 1033 Kern St., who died at 6:30 p.m. Friday of complications following a stroke at Allen Memorial Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home where friends may call after 2 p.m. today.

She was born Marjorie Guyer, March 20, 1899, at Fayette, the daughter of Frank L. and Jane Palmer Guyer, residing as a girl in Charles City and coming to Waterloo in 1910. She was married to Lou D. Pixley June 18, 1930.

Mrs. Pixley and her husband farmed land for a number of years that is now part of Waterloo Municipal Airport. He died in 1958. They had no children. She was a member of First Congregational Church.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Amber Clark, of 517 Home Park Blvd.; two brothers, Harold F. Guyer, of 264 Western Ave., and Lester L. Guyer, of San Diego, Calif., along with three nieces and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Friends who wish may name to the First Congregational Church.
