MRS. ERNESTINE KNUDSEN

Funeral services for Mrs. Ernestine (Minnie) Knudsen, 104, who died Friday in the Western Home at Cedar Falls, will be at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home at 3 p.m. tomorrow.

Dr. J. I. LaFavre, superintendent of the Western Home, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today.

Mrs. Knudsen, one of the oldest residents of Black Hawk County, was born in Germany Dec. 8, 1863, the daughter of Ferdinand and Augusta Kroll. She was married April 20, 1893, in Waterloo to John C. Knudsen. He died in 1932.

She lived in Hudson and Waterloo prior to becoming a resident of the Western Home in 1951 and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Ralph F. Knudsen, of Des Molnes, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Grace Jolls, residing in California.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, five brothers and one sister.

Friends may call after noon today al the funeral home.
