Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kearns Dykeman Chapel for Mrs. Viola Mae McMullen, 66, of 81 Hartman Ave., who died at 11:53 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Hospital of a heart attack Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.

She was born in Deep River March 7, 1901, the daughter of David and Amanda Ammann Richards. She was married to William Neitzel in 1919 at Guernsey and they were later divorced. She was married to Robert J. McMullen on June 30, 1953, in Nashua.

She had resided in Waterloo since 1953 and was a member of VFW Post auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband; three sons, Cecil Neitzel of 902 Baltimore St., and Dale and Marlan both of Victor; one stepson, James H. McMullen of 1023 Dawson St.; one daughter, Mrs. Norma Jean Rutherford of What Cheer; six brothers: Roy Richards of Wenatchee, Wash.; Orville Richards of Morgan City, LA; John Richards of Knoxville; Ralph Richards of Mondovi, Wis.; Glenn Richards of Tucson, Ariz., and David Richards of Cedar; three sisters: Mrs. Hazel Jacobs of University Park, Mrs. Mary Schultz of Montezuma, and Mrs. Lela Burnett of Bucklin, Mo.; along with 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
