CEDAR FALLS - Irene E. Sage Webrand, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, at the Hillcrest Home, Sumner.

She was born Oct. 16, 1919, near Gladbrook, daughter of George L. and Rachael E. Elmore Bridges. She married Robert Sage, and they later divorced. She then married Jurgen Webrand on Aug. 1, 1981, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. He died in 1999.

Mrs. Webrand was head cook at Bishops Buffet, Cedar Falls, retiring in 1981.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara (Ken) Gilson of Sumner; a stepdaughter, Linda (Gene) Michael of Waverly; a stepson, Gary (VicKee) Webrand of Waterloo; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Floyd (Bea) Bridges of Plainfield and George (Ruth) Bridges of Waverly.

Preceded in death by: her husbands; four sisters; three brothers; and a daughter, Elizabeth Henniges.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Alzheimers Association, Hospice or Cedar Bend Human Society.
