EVANSDALE - Burial for Donald D. Earle, 65, of 519 Evans Road, will be at a later date at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. He died at Schoitz Medical Center Friday evening.

Born July 4, 1919, in Fayette, he was the son of Charles and Lillian May McGee Earle. He married Norma Gerholdt Savala on Dec. 24, 1964, in Waterloo. She died in 1982. He then married Lyle Burroughs Jacobs Aug. 15, 1983, in Waverly.

He served in the Army during World War II in the European Theater. He was employed at tfee John Deere Component Works as a machinist for 23 years, retiring in 1982.

Survivors include his wife; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Robert Lenehan of Waterloo; two stepsons, Murray Gallaher and Dennis Jacobs, both of Cedar Rapids; seven stepgrandchildren; 13 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Kearns-Dykeman Chapel is in charge of arrangements. There will be no public visitation. The body was cremated.
