LA PORTE CITY - Services for Ralph E. Mullen, 74, of 103 Primrose Lane, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, here, with burial in St. Mary's of Mount Carmel Cemetery, EagIe Center. He died Saturday morning at Colonial Manor, La Porte City.

Mr. Mullen was born Dec. 28, 1910, in Black Hawk County, the son of Edward and Susan Beck Mullen. He married Cecilia Schons June 7, 1938, at Eagle Center,

He lived and fanned on East Eagle Road until 1981 when he moved to La Porte City.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Sue Miller of Hudson; five sons, Don, Tom and Dean, all of La Porte City, Larry of Dike and Neil of New Sharon; a sister, Mrs. Nona Rosauer of Eagle Center; and 15 grandchildren.

Friends may call at Oppold Funeral Home, Waterloo, after 2 p.m. today where rosaries will be said at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to the cardio-pulmonary department at St. Francis Hospital, Waterloo.
