John M. Deardorf, 115 Prospect Boulevard, died at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday at his home of coronary thrombosis. He had been real estate dealer. The body was taken to the Kearns Garden chapel. The widow, two sons and two daughters survive.

Mr. Deardorf, 67, had been a farmer near Greene, Ia., before moving to Waterloo about 15 years ago.

He was born at Brooklyn, Ia., Oct. 8, 1874, the son of James and Nancy Deardorf. In 1900 he married Johanna McMahon.

The surviving children are E. J. Deardorf, Indianapolis, Ind.; Martin Deardorf, Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. F. E. Barth and Mrs. L. L. Pint, both of Cedar Falls. Also surviving are a brother, B. J. Deardorf, Zenda, Kan., and three sisters, Mrs. Clara Shook and Mrs. Mable Springer, both of Greene, and Mrs. Edward Mettler, Mason City, Ia.
