Died, Oct. 27th, at the residence of Samuel Lumbus, of Eagle Township Joseph Franklin, only son of Emanuel Lumbus, aged 6 mos., 11 days

The mother of the little one died near LeMars, a few weeks ago of consumption, and the same disease clung to her offspring causing its death.

Funeral services conducted by the writer at Eagle Center from these words, "O death, where is thy sting?" The surviving father and grandparents have the sympathy of many friends.
