WATERLOO - Moses "Redd" Eggleston, 93, of 1624 Logan Ave., died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

He was born Jan. 24, 1913, in Torrence, Miss., son of Ed Eggleston and Rose Jones. He retired from Ford Motor Co.

Survivors include a daughter, Essie Mae Johnson of Waterloo; three grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by nine brothers and a sister.

Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Mount Zion Baptist Church, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, both in Detroit.

Memorials may be directed to the family at 1624 Logan Ave.
