WATERLOO - Della Pearl Van Nevele, 79, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, at ManorCare Health Services of natural causes.

She was born April 19, 1927, in Moss Run, Va., daughter of Frank Lloyd and Roxie Arrit Wright. She married Glenn Wright in 1945 in Covington, Va.,, and they were later divorced. She then married Robert "Bob" Van Nevele on Oct. 19, 1963, in Minnesota.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Curtis Wright of Waterloo, Paul (Connie) Wright of Cedar Falls and Starrett (Marcia) Wright of Evansdale; a daughter, Angela (Ken Porter) Scroggins of Waterloo; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charlie (Mary), Clayton (Hazel) and Safford Wright, all of Covington; four sisters, Lillian Bogar, Shirley Ladue and Daisey (Charles) Hepler, all of Covington, and Mattie Thomas of VanWert, Ohio.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence, Everette and Connie Wright; and two grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Garden View Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and for an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
