John Judas, 56, of Denver, died Saturday, March 25, 2006, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo, of natural causes.

He was born May 12, 1949, in Waterloo, son of Melvin and Margaret Steege Judas. He graduated from Denver High School in 1969, then attended Hawkeye Institute of Technology, Waterloo, where he received a certificate in welding. He then went to work at CMC in Waterloo as a welder and was employed there for 20 years.

Survivors include three brothers, Dale (Clara) and Lyle (Linda), both of Denver, and Richard (Patty) of Waterloo; and a sister, Mary Ann (Rene) DeLaRue of Lyle, Wash.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, both in Denver. Public visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Denver.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
