Sara S. (Freese) Flynn, 30, of 530 English Lane, Dubuque, entered into eternal life Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church, Dubuque. Burial will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Hill Cemetery, Grundy Center. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2659 Kennedy Road, Dubuque, where there will be a parish wake service at 3 p.m.

Sara was born Dec. 3, 1979, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Terry and Jody (Drum) Freese. She graduated from Dubuque Hempstead High School in 1998. Sara married Tim Flynn on Sept. 18, 2004, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was a certified nursing assistant.

As an avid Packers fan, she and her Bears fan husband had many friendly arguments about professional football. She enjoyed socializing with friends and family at Border's Coffee Shop, watching movies and spending time at home with her family. She attended St. Columbkille's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Flynn of Dubuque; an infant daughter, Savanna at home; and her father, Terry Freese of Dubuque.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother, and her mother, Jody Freese.

A Sara Flynn Memorial Fund has been established.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in the surgical Intensive Care Unit at the University of Iowa Hospital for their care.
