HUDSON - Lucinda Peters, 94, of Hudson, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, at Cedar Falls Health Care Center, Cedar Falls.

She was born Aug. 9, 1919, in rural Waverly, daughter of Wilhelm and Anna Weidemann Meyer. She married Carl Peters on May 11, 1951, in Artesian; he died Dec. 10, 1996.

Survived by a son, Ronald of Hudson; two daughters, Carolyn (Keith) Macomber of Cedar Falls and Pamela Crossley of Lisbon; and a granddaughter.

Preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Clarence Meyer; and three sisters, Laura Meyer, Melva Meyer and Rosalie Boone.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at College Hill Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the church or Care Initiatives Hospice.
