WATERLOO - Paul G. Frost, 54, of Centerville, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, near Corydon, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

He was born June 30, 1959, in Waterloo, son of Dr. Irwin and Rita Otting Frost. He married Jana Babbitt in 1981 in New Hampton, and they divorced.

Mr. Frost graduated from Columbus Catholic High School in 1977 and attended the University of Northern Iowa. He graduated from Barber College, Waterloo, and the mechanical drafting program at Hawkeye Institute of Technology. His employment included several years of cutting hair before fully engaging in his career as a draftsman. Employers included Hinke in Waverly, Toro in Minneapolis, Textron EZ Go in Augusta, Ga., Ex-Mark in Beatrice, Neb., and currently Country Clipper Mowers, Corydon.

Survived by a son, Andrew of Centerville; seven sisters, Julie (Clayton) Thomas and Sue (Louis) Fettkether, both of Waterloo, Mary Ann (Jay) Paulukonis of Dalton, Pa., Carolyn (David) Thogerson of Ames, Nancy (Don) Bellmont of St. Cloud, Minn., Beth (Dan) Markowitz of Overland Park, Kan., and Lori (Sanjay) Shah of Cedar Rapids; five brothers, Robert (Jane) of Waterloo, Edward (Francoise) of Bent Mountain, Va., Michael (Molly) of Westfield, Mass., Mark of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Ted (Joan) of Austin, Texas.

Preceded in death by his parents; an aunt, Melia; a brother, David; and a nephew, Jeffrey Frost.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with a time of sharing and remembrance at 7 p.m.

Memorial fund in lieu of flowers: has been established for an educational fund for his son, in care of Julie Thomas.

Paul loved to fish, and was actively involved in helping friends and family with their racing endeavors for the past 30 years. With his positive upbeat attitude, Paul was always focused on best providing for his loved ones. He is already deeply missed.
