WATERLOO - Kelly B. Rogers, 54, of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013 of cancer.

He was born Sept. 25, 1959, in Waterloo, son of Russell J. Rogers and Patricia Burkhart. He married Suzanne Barnett.

A graduate of Central High School, Waterloo, Mr. Rogers was a plumber and landscaper in Jacksonville. He served in the U.S. Navy as a helicopter mechanic.

Survived by his wife; a son, Russell (Sabrina) of Virginia; a stepson, Jason Wilson of Jacksonville; two daughters, Amanda (Stephen) Casino and Kristin Rogers, both of Jacksonville; two grandchildren, Jordyn and Bishop; a sister, Ann Grimm of Waterloo; and his two best friends, Tasha and Capone.

Preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Albert E. Campbell.

Services will be later, with a private family service and burial in National Cemetery, Jacksonville. There will be a church service later with church family and friends.
