WATERLOO - Irene Hansen, 94, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center, Cedar Falls.

She was born May 28, 1919, in Waterloo, daughter of Arthur and Edith Jones Roeding. She married Walter Hansen May 1, 1941, in Keoka, Mo.

Mrs. Hansen grew up in Waterloo, worked as a homemaker and as a baker for Morg’s Lunch. She was a longtime member of Grace Brethren Church in Waterloo.

Survived by a son, Duane (Anne) of Waterloo; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many brothers and sisters.

Preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
