GILBERTVILLE, IOWA - Thomas B. Penne, 72, of Gilbertville, died at home Monday, Dec. 16, 2013.

He was born April 6, 1941, in Waterloo, son of Thomas and Bernice Bernard Penne. He was employed with C.W. Shirey, Wonderbread Bakery and most recently with Walmart.

Survived by a brother, James (Beverly) of Waterloo; a nephew, Stephen (Davina) Penne of Mount Horeb, Wis.; a niece, Christine (Brian) Schmidtke of Cedar Falls; three great-nephews; and a great-niece.

Preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Stephen L. and Kevin J.

Memorial services will be held at a later date, with inurnment in Calvary Cemetery, Waterloo. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is assisting the family.
