WATERLOO - Michael John Nolan, 61, of Camino, Calif., formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at University of California Hospital, San Francisco, of cancer.

He was born May 10, 1952, in Waterloo, son of John J. Jr. and Mildred Nolan. He married Alyce Hixon in 1986 in California.

He graduated from West High School in 1970 and had worked for Rath Packing Co., Oscar Meyer, and Boar’s Head Meat for 30 years.

Survived by his wife; a son, Drew (Carolyn) of Sacramento, Calif.; a daughter, Michelle J. Nolan of Camino; three sisters, Susan (Charles) McNeilly of Beaverton, Ore., Kathy (Todd) Dunning of Oskaloosa and Carol (Bruce) Stainbrook of Kimberling City, Mo.

Preceded in death by his father; his mother and stepfather, Mildred and Paul Perrin; and a brother, David Perrin.

Memorial services were held Nov. 16 at Pollock Pines Community Church, Pollock Pines, Calif. Locke Funeral Home assisted the family.
