WATERLOO -Leon Damone Beltran, 56, of Waterloo, died Dec. 3, 2013, at UnityPoint Health - Allen Hospital of cancer.

He was born Dec. 28, 1956, in Waterloo, son of Theresa Smith.

Mr. Beltran formerly worked for Iowa Metal Spinning, and then Custom Metal Spinning from 1996 to 2012. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survived by his common-law wife, Debby A. Rains, and her children, Tracy Marie Davidson, Nathan Mark Rains, Jacob Michael Rains and Brandon W. Rains; his mother of Waterloo; and two brothers, Terry Joe and Doss G., both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Cole and Billy Beltran.

There will be no services. Iowa Cremation Society, Cedar Rapids, assisted the family.
