Services for William A. Wagner, 71, of 621 Dawson St., will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at O'Keefe & Towne-Carter & Waychoff Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery with full military rites by American Legion Post 138 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1623. He died of natural causes at his home Saturday (July 4, 1987).

He was born July 12, 1915, in Dyersville, son of John G. and Susie Lockoff Wagner. He married Evelyn B. Leek on March 21, 1935. She died March 21, 1986.

He was employed at Waterloo Industries for 37 years, retiring in 1977. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star.

Survivors include four sons, Bert of Lawton, Okla., Robert A. of Albuquerque, N. M., Gary P. Sr. of Chicago and William S. of Waterloo; a daughter, Joan Krusemark of Waterloo; and 14 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and until services Wednesday.
