Services for Russell Paul Sulentic, 24, of Des Moines, formerly of Waterloo, will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Oppold Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery with military rites by AMVETS Post 19 of Waterloo. He died at his home Friday morning (July 2, 1987).

He was born on Sept. 9, 1962, in Waterloo, son of Anthony "Tony" and Donna Hanks Sulentic. He graduated from West High School in 1980.

He was a computer operator in the Des Moines area. He served in the Marine Corps from 1980 to 1983.

Survivors include his father of 619 Bertch Ave.; his mother, Donna Roethler of 803 Baltimore St.; a. brother, Donald Allen Sulentic of Waterloo; two sisters, Mia Rae Sulentic and Denise Sulentic, both of Waterloo; paternal grandmother, Olga Sulentic of Waterloo; maternal grandmother, Neva Hanks of Waterloo; and maternal great-grandmother, Berenice Hanks of Cedar Falls.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the Vietnam Memorial Fund.
