WATERLOO — Linvel B. Adler, 85, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Nov. 3, 1995, at Lee Memorial Hospital, Fort Myers, of natural causes.
He was born March 2, 1910, in New Castle, Ky., son of Leonard and Minnie Coblin Adler. He married Edith Diesburg on Aug. 26, 1913, Ionia.
Mr. Adler was employed for Deere & Co. for 32 years, retiring in 1970.
Survived by his wife; a son, Lee of Glen Allen, Ark., two daughters, Shirley Anderson of Fort Myers and Linda Johnson of Cedar Falls; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Kirby of Waterloo; and a sister, Opal Lochte of Waterloo.
Preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Services were_ 10 a.m. Monday at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Fort Myers, with burial in Lee Memorial Park, Lehigh Acres, Fla. Phil Riser Funeral Home, Inc., Fort Myers, was in charge of arrangements
