WATERLOO — Irene M. Liverace, 80, of 310 Upland Drive, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 1995, at Parkview Gardens Care Center from complications of Alzheimer's disease.

She was born Jan. 3, 1915, in Waterloo, daughter of Ira W. and Mona Hammetter Day. She married Francis Liverance on Jan. 24, 1933, in Waterloo. He died May 28, 1979.

Survived by two sons, Delvin of Waterloo and Eugene of Waverly; two daughters, Phyllis Swanson of Hudson and Alice Gates of Ferris, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Hazel Ramsell of Des Moines.

Preceded in death by a brother, Harold Day.

Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church chapel, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.

A memorial fund has been established.
