CEDAR FALLS - Richard "Dick" Reuter, 87, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was born Jan. 16, 1920, in Jesup, son of John and Catherine Weiden Reuter. He married Trena Meinders on Aug. 10, 1946, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She died March 29, 1999.

Mr. Reuter was employed at the Product Engineering Center at John Deere for 27 years, retiring in 1982.

Survived by a sister, Rose Marie Johnson of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by five brothers, Edward, Leo, Francis, Harold and Floyd; and three sisters, Anna Brown, Margaret Baughman and Agnes Waerenborg.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, with burial in Garden of Memories. Public visitation from 3:30 to 7 p.m. today at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service.

Memorials may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
