CEDAR FALLS -- Charlotte Wilson, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo.

She was born Sept. 16, 1932, in Fulton, N.Y., daughter of Harold and Anna Thompson Lehon.

She earned a bachelor's degree in speech education from Syracuse University and was employed with the University of Northern Iowa as an instructor and business manager for the North American Review, retiring in April 2000.

Survived by two sons, Phil (Lori) of Lakeville, Minn., and Stephen of Gleneden Beach, Ore.; and two grandchildren, Sam and Katie Wilson.

Memorial services: 1 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Georgian Lounge in the Commons on the UNI campus. There will be no visitation. Her body has been deeded to the University of Iowa Deeded Body Program.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or Hartman Reserve.
