Stanley James Pint, 73, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away August 10, 2007 from complications of lung cancer.

He was born January 6, 1934 in Black Hawk County, to Joseph and Ceclia Pint. After serving in the U.S. Army, Stanley worked for Rath Packing Company in Waterloo for 30 years then moved to Phoenix with his family. He began working for Dillard's and retired in 1999.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elsie, nine children, 20 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Stanley was a loving father to Ronald, Donald, Susan Randall, Pamela Eiter, Stephanie Burks, Debbie Sherwood, Darrell, Diane Marrero, and Darla Smith. He is also survived by Brothers Donald, Jim, Gary and Sister Mary Brice.

Preceded in death by his parents, son Douglas, granddaughter Rachel and siblings Loren, Dwywan, Leonard, Lavern, Robert, Donna Mae Borrelli and Teresa Lovell. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and all whose lives were touched by him.

Visitation will be open to all friends and family on Monday, August 13th at 3 p.m., followed by Rosary service at 7 p.m. at Hansen Mortuaries, 8314 N. Seventh St., Phoenix. Services will take place Tuesday, August 14th at 9 a.m. at St. Luke's Parish in Phoenix.
