Miss Sophia Sauerbry, 1020 Mulberry Street, died nt 10:45 a.m. Sunday al Allen Memorial Hospital, of carcinoma and complications. She had been a patient at the hospital since Sept. 2. She was 70 years old.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:30 p. m. at the O'Keefe & Towne chapel. Burial will be at Jubilee, In.

Sophia Sauerbry was born Feb. 23, 1873. in Fox Township. Black Hawk County, the daughter of Andrew and Margaretha Sauerbry.

She was a member of the First Lutheran Church.

Surviving are two brothers, Andrew, Waverly, and George, Tripoli, and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Benorden, Presho. S. D., and Mrs. Henry Lange, Readlyn. Ia, Also surviving are several nephews and nieces.

Two sisters preceded her in death.
