Maurice “Jack” Bolt Sr., 74, of Janesville, died at home Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 of natural causes.

He was born Feb. 18, 1938, in Garwin, son of Gerriet Sr. and Elva Jorgensen Bolt. He married Bette Fuller on Jan. 20, 1957, at First Presbyterian Church, Waterloo.

Mr. Bolt worked at H&H Machine Tool Co. [Cedar Falls] for more than 30 years as a skilled machinist.

Survived by his wife; a son, Maurice “Maurie” (Cheryl) of Janesville; three daughters, Rebecca Wrage of Cedar Falls, JoDee (Tim) Downs of Readlyn and Stacia (Shane) Hoff of Janesville; 14 grandchildren, Wes (Crystal) Wrage, Leslie (Ryan) Bochmann and Clint Wrage, Ben, Molly and Evan Bolt, Jacob (Cami) Downs, Mary Ann and Morgan Downs, Jacqueline (Nick) Hildebrandt, Matthew (Jackie) Moyer, Christa (Jason Kurtz) Moyer and Spencer and Bailey Hoff; 11 great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Danica Wrage, Zac, Jaidin and Alyssa Downs, Rylee Jo Downs, Elaina, Madeline and Kelsey Hildebrandt and Braylon and Marrick Moyer; a sister, Shirley (Roy) Moses of Cedar Falls; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a brother, Gerriet Jr.; three sisters, Bonnie Morgan, Marlys Rockwood and Frances Bartling; and a son-in-law, Wade Wrage.

Celebration of Life 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Riviera Roose Community Center, Janesville.
