Mrs. Angeline Cheney; after an illness of two months following several years of poor health, died Friday, Feb. 20, 1903 at 12.40 p. m. at her home 820 West 2nd Street. Her daughter, Rose A. Brown, from Jackson, Minn., had been with her several weeks, and returned to her home, but came back Saturday. A daughter, Alice B. Cook, of Mason City, has been with her mother for some weeks also ministering to every need. A son Charles is here from Clear Lake, and a grandson Belmont D. Cook, the latter being here for some week past. Albert Cheney, a son, and a daughter Corey, both from Ramona, S. D., are here to attend the funeral to be conducted from the home at 2 p. m. today by Rev. J. E. Snowden

Angeline Smith was born in Syracuse, N. Y., June 17, 1827, and died in her 76th year. She was married in 1848 to George Cheeney. They came to Cedar Falls in 1855 where they have since resided; the death of Mr. Cbeeney occuring Feb. 12, 1890, aged 65 years.

Deceased has been a most faithful, devoted mother, and leaves two sons and four daughters living. Two daughters are dead.

She was a good Christian woman, faithful and devoted, and leaves many who bear kind remembrance other life and faithfulness.
