Father Theimer Passes Away.

At the home, of his daughter; Mrs, Julia Matzner, on 10th Street near Olive,

Frank Theimer died Sunday evening at 10.30, at the age of 92 years, 10 months and 3 days. The deceased was born in Austria, April 19, 1810. In 1863 he came to this country settling near Cedar Falls, Iowa.

In 1836 he was united in marriage with Carolina Seigmund. This union was blessed with eleven children, seven of whom preceded him to eternity.

About six weeks ago he contracted a severe cold from which he did not wholly recover, it having settled on his stomach. He was resigned to his condition and put his entire trust in Jesus who had save him and bought him with His precious blood.

He leaves one brother in Germany, one sister, two sons, two daughters, twenty-three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 o'clock, in the German Evangelical Church, the pastor Rev. A Goetze, officiating, assisted by Rev. Geo Knoche. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
