Services for Mrs. Barbara Lockwood, 79, of 626 W. Sixth St., will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Chapel of Memories West with burial at Garden of Memories. She died Monday morning at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

She was born Nov. 27, 1896, in Wisconsin, the daughter of Simon and Katherine Gottschalke Hupfer. She married Melvin C. Lockwood Jan. 10, 1921, in Willow Springs, Mo. He died in 1973.

Survivors include a son, Lee of Lament; a daughter, Mrs. Boyd Voshell of 812 W. Sixth St.; a brother, Herbert Goger of Lakeside, Calif.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday until services Friday.
