Calvin R. Watters, 73, of Holiday, Florida, died Thursday, February 3, 2000 at Community Hospital at New port Richey, Florida of natural causes.

Born in Hudson, Iowa, son of Archie and Anna Watters, he moved to Florida 46 years ago and was an insurance agent. Calvin was an Army Veteran of War II, a member of Sunshine Lutheran Church, Holiday, Florida, and president of Phi Delta Kappa, Tampa, Florida.

Survivors include his wife, Joan, two sons, Ronald and Rodney, both of Tampa, Florida; a daughter, Rhonda Hawke of Temple Terrace, Florida; three step sons, one brother, Lyle of Jesup, Iowa; four sisters: Florence Schmitz of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Marjorie Reddish, Jesup, Georgia, and Helen Miller and Mary Jane Jasper of Waterloo, Iowa, and two grandchildren.

National Cremation Society, New Port Richey was in charge.
