WATERLOO - Nicole Cooper, 36, of 2112 Cityview St., died Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 22, 1969, in Iowa City, daughter of Louis Proctor and Billie Jo Curry. She married Anthony Cooper in Waterloo, and they later divorced.

Ms. Cooper was employed at Powers Manufacturing Co., Boys Town and Waterloo schools.

Survivors include: two daughters, Destine Proctor and Mirage Cooper, both of Waterloo; a son, Elisha "Alex" Proctor of Waterloo; her mother of Waterloo; her father and stepmother, Louis and Dixie Proctor of Waterloo; maternal grandfather, the Rev. Joe Curry of Waterloo; and five sisters, Mary J. Strait of Chicago, Amanda Proctor of Des Moines and Eloise Vaughn, Shellie Proctor and Phylicia Proctor, all of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Louise Graves; paternal grandparents, O.C. and Bertha Smith; and a brother, Antione Dunn.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Gift of Life Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation from 9 a.m. until services Monday at the church. Sanders Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the family at 601 Lakeside, where they will receive friends.
