WATERLOO - Lillie Karoline Munson Manahl, 93, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center of natural causes.

She was born Aug. 15, 1920, in Graettinger, daughter of Magnus and Marie Pedersen Hansen. She married Marion Muson on Feb. 1, 1941; he died June 24, 1993. She married Robert Manahl on June 30, 1995.

Mrs. Manahl graduated from Eagle Grove High School, Eagle Grove.

Survived by a son, Ronald (LaVeta) Munson of Independence, Mo.; two daughters, Verginia Thomas of Waterloo and Marlas Moore (Donny) of Northwood; 10 grandchildren, Ed (Kim) Thomas, Wendy (Frank) Calhoun, Susan Schutz, Chris (Patty) Rigel, Kim (Steve) Ramsey, Ronda (Ted) Shepard, Matt (Deb) Rigel, Tracey (Kara) Rigel, Tim (Ashley) Thomas and Dean (April) Munson; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dale Hansen of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mabel and Evelyn; three brothers, Gerald Hansen, and two infants; a son-in-law, Dennis Thomas; a daughter-in-law, Kay Munson; and a grandson-in-law, David Schutz.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ascension Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories. Visitation from 4 to 7 pm. Friday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Lillie loved to square dance.
