CEDAR FALLS - Erna Emma Wobbeking, 103, of the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, died there Friday, June 23, 2006, of natural causes.

She was born June 8, 1903, in Denver, daughter of Fred and Maria Luther Kroenecke. She married Louis Wobbeking on Feb. 15, 1922, in Denver, and he preceded her in death Nov. 29, 1988.

Survived by her niece and guardian, Beverly (William) Ibach of Waterloo; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews and great-great-great-nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Trudy Joy Wobbeking, on May 20, 1991; her parents; her husband; two brothers, Werner and Orval Kroenecke; and two sisters, Ella Krueger and Esther Mowry.

Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Chapel, with burial in the Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, Waterloo, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the chapel, with the family present only on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials: may be directed to the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Chapel.
