CEDAR FALLS - Paul Grayson Neumann, 64, Cedar Falls, formerly of Green Bay, Wis., died Thursday, June 15, 2006, of pancreatic cancer at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo.

He was born Nov. 17, 1941, in Davenport, son of Herbert and Agnes Neumann. On May 10, 1963, he married Carol Liedtke in Davenport.

He graduated from Davenport High School (now Central High) in 1960 and attended the University of Iowa. In addition to Davenport, he lived in Geneseo, Ill., Center, Texas, Orange and Anaheim, Calif., and Algoma and Green Bay, Wis.

His work involved primarily engineering and machinery design. For the past 12 years he was manager of engineering at Algoma Hardwoods. He enjoyed designing and building boats, relaxing at the family cabin in Eldorado, and fishing, especially on the Turkey River.

Survived by his wife; a son, Timothy (Christine) of Ramona, Calif.; a daughter, Kimberly (Scott) Hansen of Cedar Falls; his mother of Davenport; four grandchildren; a brother, James (Ruthann) of Davenport; and a sister, Elaine (Larry) Quayle of Palmetto, Fla.

Preceded in death by his father.

Memorial services: 1 p.m. Friday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Eldorado, with private family inurnment. Public visitation for an hour before services Friday at the church. Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo, is in charge of arrangements.
