WATERLOO -- Janet E. Wagner, 94, of Friendship Village, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at Friendship Village Retirement Center.

She was born June 25, 1919, in Worthington, Minn., daughter of Jacob H. and Lettie E. Smith Grady. She married Earl C. Wagner on April 16, 1938, in Waterloo. He died March 7, 1992.

She graduated from Orange High School in 1936. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church (formerly Grace Brethren Church).

Survived by two daughters, Carol (Michael) Olsson of Cedar Falls and Dorothy (Roger) Goldsberry of Waterloo; a son, Donald (Cheryl) of Woodstock, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Scott (Paula) Eggleston, Mark (Molly) Eggleston, Mike (Tami) Eggleston, Pam DeBoer, Kevin (Liz) Wagner, David (Susan) Wagner, Jody (John) Derifield and Jenny (Matt) Mulnix; 16 great-grandchildren, Courtney and Jared Eggleston, Emily, Ed, Elliott and Everett Eggleston, Jacob, Josh and Jenna DeBoer, Brittany and Justin Wagner, Claire and Levi Stephens and Kendall, Hawken and Hadley Mulnix; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Shepard Stiles.

Preceded in death by three brothers: Clare, Marvin and Wayne Grady.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. today and for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to Grace Fellowship Church.
