Dies When Car Overturns

Roy E. Pullin, 28, Ex-Waterloo Man

Services are pending at the Locke Funeral Home for a former Waterloo man who died yesterday morning when the car he was driving skidded off an icy road near Cedar Rapids and overturned.

Dead is Roy Eugene Pullin, 28, of Marion, the son of Harold and Irma Rivers Pullin of Rt. 4. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today. The casket will not be
opened at any time.

Roy Pullin was born here Oct. 19, 1942. He had been employed at the Link Belt Co. in Cedar Rapids and was a member of the Machinists union. He also belonged to the South Waterloo Church of the Brethren.

Surviving are a son, Eugene and a daughter, Jodi, both of Cedar Rapids; his parents; four brothers, Richard of Rt. 3, Glen of Rt. 1, Robert of rural La Porte City and Max of Cedar Rapids; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Anna Pullin of Rt. 1; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Rose Frahm of Waterloo.
