WATERLOO - Vivian Betty Smith, 94, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at the Affinity Home of natural causes.

She was born May 27, 1919, in Decorah, daughter of Elwood and Sophia Teepe Blue. She married Donald G. Smith on Feb. 26, 1951, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oelwein. He died Nov. 30, 1989.

Mrs. Smith was employed at F.W. Means for 22 years in press work.

Survived by her friends at the Affinity Home.

Preceded in death by four brothers, Earl, Eddie, Clarence and Elmer Blue.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, Waterloo, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein.

Memorials may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waterloo.
