WATERLOO - Johanna M. Supple, 90, of Waterloo, died Saturday, June 25, 2005, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center of natural causes.

She was born Jan. 1, 1915, in Holland, daughter of Theodore and Wilhamina Klein Bottema. She married James Leaman on April 17, 1950, in Waterloo. He died in July 1962. She married Donald Supple on Aug. 17, 1968, in Waterloo. He died in February 1994.

Mrs. Supple was employed at Rath Packing Co., in the canned ham department for many years.

Survivors include two sisters, Mary Kruckenberg and Elizabeth Raymond, both of La Porte City; three sisters-in-law, Sophia Bottema of Dysart, and Leona Bottema and Agnes Bottema, both of La Porte City; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine Joens and Angeline Stoner; and five brothers, John, Henry, Bill, Rinard and Rinard Bottema.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Edwards Catholic Church, Waterloo, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Nashua. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary service. Visitation also for an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
