CEDAR FALLS - Sarah Ellen Wood, 92, of the Cedar Falls Western Home, formerly of 929 W. First St., died Wednesday, May 5, 1993, at the Western Home of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 4, 1901, in Cedarville, Ill., daughter of Eugene and Ida Rubendall Kleckner. She married Louis C. Wood on May 22 1917 in Cedar Falls. He died Aug. 11,1978.

Survivors include a son, Cleon of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Cyltell J. Thieman of Cedar Falls; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 p.m. today, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation also will be an hour before services Saturday.

Memorials may be made to the Western Home or First United Methodist Church.
