Services for Mrs. Mary Barker, 80, of 1310 Knoll Ave., will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Ridgeway Bethel Baptist Church. She died Monday morning at Allen Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Barker was born July 17, 1900, at Swifton, Ark., daughter of Bill and Lee Williamson Foster. She married Harry James Barker April 20, 1918, in Arkansas, and he died, in 1941. She formerly was employed at the Russell Lamson Hotel.

Survivors include five sons, Louie W. of 750 River Forest Road, Evansdale. Leo of Wynne. Ark., Henry L. of Fisher, Ark., Rubben of 186 W. 10th St., and James E. of 119 Wycombe St.; four daughters: Mrs. Her Harriman of Jesup, Mrs. Cora G. Hall of 2018 Lafayette St.. Mrs. Nora Lee Bradsher of Fisher, Ark., and Mrs. Flossie J. Yafbrough of 1310 Knoll Ave.; 52 grandchildren; 51 greatgrandchildren; six great-greatgrandchildren; a brother, Jeff of Harrisburg, Ark.; five sisters: Mrs. Lula Pace of Michigan City, Mrs. Nora Pace and Mrs. Ada Bean of Harrisburg, Ark., Mrs. Her Barnes of Mark Tree, Ark., and Mrs. Chink Arnold of California.

Friends may call at the Chapel of Memories West after 11 a.m. Thursday. A memorial will be established at a later date.
