Craig William Miller, 53, of Sumner, died Monday, April 18, 2005, at University Hospitals, Iowa City, of pancreatic cancer.

He was born Nov. 29, 1951, in Mason City, son of Arlo and Shirley French Miller. He married Pamela Drewes Aug. 9, 1975, at St. Pauls United Church of Christ, near Sumner.

Mr. Miller graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1970 and studied electronics at Northeast Iowa Community College, Calmar. He was currently employed as an electronic technician for Moneyhandling Machines Co. of Omaha, Neb. He had previously raised turkeys. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife of Sumner; a son, Clayton of Sumner; a daughter, Steffanie (Travis) Buckendahl of Spillville; a grandson; and his mother of Clear Lake.

Preceded in death by his father.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John Lutheran Church, with burial in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, both in Sumner. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Becker-Milnes Funeral Home, Sumner, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.
