Funeral services for George F. Culbertson, 56, of 920 Commercial Street, who died at 2:05 a.m. Sunday at Allen Memorial Hospital of cardiac asthma, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Gunnell, pastor of Christ Episcopal Church officiating.

Mr. Culbertson had been in the hospital since Wednesday.

Resident of Waterloo for the last 36 years, he was born Feb. 22, 1889, in Montgomery City, Mo., son of Denny and Elizabeth Culbertson. On Mar. 25, 1920, he married Mrs. Pearl Bolenbaugh at Waterloo.

He was a member of Becker-Champman post American Legion.

Surviving are his wife, two step-children, Mrs. Donn Petersen, Charles City, Ia., and W. R. Bolenbaugh, Minneapolis, Minn; four sisters: Mrs. Neva Davis, Iowa City, Ia., Mrs. Polly Carroll, 421 West Park Avenue, Mrs. Rilla Peck, Pittsburg, Kan., and Mrs. Rose Fenner, Cedar Falls; three brothers: Amos D., Oroville, Cal., Claude, Williamstown, N. Y., and Clint, Greeley, Ia.; and two step-grandchildren.

Three brothers preceded him in death.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
