CEDAR FALLS - Troy Anthony Hermansen, 45, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 10, 1968, in Waterloo, son of William James and Portia Fisher Hermansen. He married Christin Fencl on Aug. 17, 1989, in Waterloo.

Mr. Hermansen was the owner of Godfather’s Pizza on University Avenue, Waterloo.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Zachary (Kelsey Buchheit) and Noah, both of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Ashley (Spencer) Johnson and Abbey Hermansen, both of Cedar Falls; his father of Naples, Fla.; his mother of Waterloo; a grandson, Caleb Buchheit; a brother, Todd of Cedar Falls; nieces and nephews, Allie, Bre, Rayden, Aliah, Daniel, Jaclynn, Tate and Tyler.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Merle Hermansen and Thomas and Edith Fisher.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church, where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also for an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
