Mrs. Amy J. Davis, 81, died at 8 a. m. Monday at her home, 1033 Riehl St. A heart condition and old age were cited as causes of death.

Born in Swansea, Wales, May 18, 1876 to Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Hopkins, she emigrated at 11, and settled with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rosser, at Kirksville, Iowa.

She married David R. Davis at Des Moines, Sept. 15, 1897. He died in 1930.

A resident of Waterloo and Cedar Falls since 1930, she lived with, her daughter, Mrs. James T. Maillie, 1033 Riehl St., during the past two years. She was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church.

Her survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Maillie, three grandchildren, and six greatgrandchildren.

Services will be held, at 11 a. m.Wednesday at the Chapel of Memories, Rev. Harold Sparks presiding. Burial will be at Albia.
