WATERLOO - Geraldine A. "Gerri" Granneman, 97, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at ManorCare Health Services of natural causes.

She was born Nov. 26, 1915, in Juneau County, Wis., daughter of William and Minnie Gabower Mistele. She married Donald Granneman on July 12, 1945, in Minneapolis. He died Jan. 4, 1987.

Mrs. Granneman graduated from Sacred Heart High School and attended Iowa State Teachers College. She worked in data processing at Chamberlain Manufacturing Co. for 33 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survived by her companion, Joseph Morehouse of Waterloo; a brother-in-law, Lowell (Bonnie) Granneman of Waverly; three nieces, Linda (Marty) Vermazen, Mary Kay McDermott and Debra Granneman; and two nephews, Jon (Jeanette) and Steven Granneman.

Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Bonnie Elaine; and a brother, Armond Mistele.

Graveside services were held at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Locke Funeral Home Inc.
