Elgin Echo, Elgin, Iowa, Thur., 12 March 1903.

Sunday morning the sad news was received that the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Lehman, of La Porte City, was dead. Wilma was about three years old, lovable and kind of disposition and the only child. The immediate cause of her death was typhoid fever. The remains were brought to this city Monday and funeral services held from the home of John Lehman Tuesday at one o'clock. Interment was made in the Elgin cemetery.

Rev. C. F. Stockman conducted the services at the house and a large concourse of friends attended the body to the final resting place.

About two years ago the family removed from this city to La Porte City, and have many friends here who grieve with them in this sad bereavement.
